The Signs Are in the Sky

A little after midnight last night there occurred something that worldly scientist call a lunar eclipse, but that same thing is what we as Bible believers call a “Blood Moon”

I was tired and so I went to bed early but I set an alarm to wake up me after midnight  so that I could see the blood moon before it passed by. It wasn’t so much the visual that I wanted see, but rather I wanted to see the representation. I wanted to see the reality that God’s Word is living and was, is, and will come to pass. I wanted to see the reminder that the time is short and this world is not my home.

Unfortunately these days so many of us are looking down, that we don’t bother looking up. The comical reels, and videos on our phones appear to be more exciting then signs from God being displayed in the heavens. Today people would rather look down and talk to Siri and artificial intelligence chat bots, than to look up and talk to God. If we today were Israel in the wilderness, the shiny golden calf we worship as God would be the shiny blue light lit screens we’re each holding in the palm of our hands. For anyone who questions this, how many hours do you spend with your phone a day? How many hours do you spend with God

Recently I went through a period in which I had started to waste far more time on my phone than I had done in a long time and I began to feel convicted within my heart. However as I continued to be on my phone and ignore the conviction I met a brother in Christ who told me that today He had bought him a flip-phone and was throwing his smart phone in the trash. He said that although he was a truck driver and depending on his phone for navigation, he could no longer in good conscious allow his phone to be a barrier in his relationship with God. He said he would just have to find another way to get to his destinations. He said that there is nothing we with our free will can give to God save our attention. We can’t buy God a car, we can’t give him a diamond, or buy Him a meal. For all these things are already His. However what God has given us is the free will to choose to serve Him or to serve ourselves. God wants our attention, and yet so much of our attention goes to our phones.

The Bible says in Acts 2:19-20 thats the moon turning red would be a sign of the coming of the Lord.

Acts 2:19-20

“I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord”

Did you realize while looking at the moon last night that time is almost up? Have you told your family and your friends that the time is short? If the Lord were to come back now would you be ready or would you need more time?

When we look at the world today all the evidence is pointing to a “beast system” that is arising. Some of the billionaires of the world have all gathered with Trump and Bill Gates to discuss new vaccines that are on the way. And if there are new vaccines that means there is more potential man made pandemics and lockdowns to come. The beast system is being set up so that anyone who does not bow down their knee to the devil will not be able to partake in society.

Remember Elijah, who didn’t know a single person in Israel other than himself who had never bowed down to Baal. Yet, the LORD told him that there were 7,000 others whom Elijah didn’t know. Stay strong, even if you are the only one in your community who holds fast to this truth. There are others near you whom you may not know. When the first vaccine arrived, believers in God’s Word were willing to leave school and careers to remain obedient. But for others, the pressure was too great, and they gave in even though they knew in their hearts it was wrong.

When the first vaccine came people who believed in the Word of God were willing to forsake schooling and their careers to remain obedient, however for some others the pressures were too great so they surrendered even though in their hearts they knew it was wrong.

The Bible tells us:

Matthew 24:12, 22-24
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

22-24
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

In closing:

The end of this age is at hand. Let be prepared for what is to come. Let us not look down so much, but look up toward the sky for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us pray that we are found worthy to escape all that is to come.

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” – Luke 21:36

Thank you all for reading.

God bless you all who are in Christ Jesus.
